Parties to these terms
Pen Fiction is owned and operated by Paper and Glue Publishing LLC. When these terms refer to “Pen Fiction,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” they mean Paper and Glue Publishing LLC. Creators enter into these terms with Paper and Glue Publishing LLC.
Publishing and prices
Creators choose whether eligible work is free, included in a monthly subscription, or sold for a one-time price. You authorize Pen Fiction and its payment provider to collect the displayed price and applicable charges.
Creator payouts and platform fee
Creators who sell must complete Stripe connected-account onboarding. Customer payments are routed through Stripe. Pen Fiction keeps a 5% platform fee from each transaction. Stripe processing fees, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, currency conversion, reserves, or other provider charges may also reduce creator proceeds.
Creator obligations
You are the seller and publisher of your work unless clearly stated otherwise. You are responsible for rights, accurate descriptions, promised access, customer obligations, tax information, and compliance with laws that apply to you. Do not manipulate sales, subscriptions, reviews, or engagement.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Monthly subscriptions renew until canceled. Canceling stops future renewals but does not ordinarily reverse completed billing periods. Access and refunds may be affected by law, Stripe rules, fraud, duplicate charges, or a creator’s failure to provide purchased content.
Refunds, disputes, and balances
Pen Fiction or Stripe may issue refunds or withhold, reverse, or offset funds when reasonably necessary for disputes, fraud, legal obligations, or negative balances. Creators authorize deductions from available proceeds for amounts they owe.
Payment provider terms
Stripe’s connected-account and services terms also apply. Pen Fiction does not control Stripe eligibility, verification, reserves, payout timing, or account restrictions.
