Pen Fiction is owned and operated by Paper and Glue Publishing LLC. Paper and Glue Publishing LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information collected
Pen Fiction processes your sign-in name and email, profile details, manuscripts, images, audio, planning notes, comments, follows, likes, bookmarks, reading progress, publication settings, transaction references, connected-account status, and ordinary security and technical logs.
How it is used
Information is used to authenticate you, save and publish work, personalize reading, provide AI assistance you request, process purchases and creator payouts, measure engagement, prevent abuse, support users, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
Pen Fiction uses service providers to run hosting and storage, identity, AI features, and payments. Content sent to an AI feature is processed to provide the requested result. Stripe processes payment and connected-account information under its own privacy terms; Pen Fiction does not store full card numbers.
Sharing and public content
Published profiles, publications, posts, covers, comments, and creator promotions are public according to your choices. Information may also be disclosed to service providers, to complete a transaction, with your direction, or when reasonably required for safety or law. Pen Fiction does not sell personal information for money.
Retention and choices
Information is kept while your account is active and as reasonably needed for backups, transactions, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal duties. You can edit profile and publication information and delete drafts or publications using available controls. Requests concerning account data can be made through your account.
Security and international processing
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is perfectly secure. Information may be processed where Pen Fiction and its providers operate. Do not upload highly sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your work.
Changes
Material privacy changes will be presented clearly and, when appropriate, require renewed acceptance.
